This tour will take you to Murchison Falls National Park. Expect a detour visit to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and a game drive and launch trip to the bottom of the falls. Thereafter, transfer to Kibale National Park for the chimp trekking experience. Exit Kibale and go to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will enjoy a game drive plus a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Transfer to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience. From Bwindi, you go to Lake Mburo before concluding in Entebbe.

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our dedicated representative will warmly welcome you to Uganda, often referred to as the Pearl of Africa. Subsequently, you'll be transferred to your prearranged accommodation in Entebbe, ensuring a comfortable start to your Ugandan adventure. Should your arrival allow for an early opportunity, consider visiting the serene Entebbe Botanical Garden. This hidden gem is a haven for nature enthusiasts, offering glimpses of diverse bird species and occasional primate sightings, including black and white colobus monkeys and vervet monkeys. Immerse yourself in a tranquil ambiance, enveloped by nature's beauty, where the absence of crowds allows for a peaceful experience. Relax amidst the serene surroundings, appreciating the harmonious melodies of birdsong that fill the air, providing a moment of pure tranquility and natural splendor.
Following breakfast, your designated driver (guide) will collect you from the hotel as you embark on a journey towards Murchison Falls National Park. Depending on availability, we offer either a safari Land Cruiser or a safari van for your transport needs. This renowned park boasts captivating attractions such as the thunderous rapids of the Murchison and the expansive plains, marking it as Uganda’s largest national park. Prepare for remarkable wildlife sightings including lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants. The abundance of hippos and Nile crocodiles along the Nile will undoubtedly captivate your attention. En route, a visit to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary awaits, providing your first experience encountering the Big 5 through an invigorating hour of rhino tracking. As your journey progresses, a stop in Masindi offers a delightful lunch experience before continuing your expedition towards the park. Upon arrival, check-in at your accommodation, providing a tranquil space to unwind and relax amidst the park's scenic surroundings for the evening.
Indulge in a fulfilling breakfast before embarking on an early morning game drive across the expansive plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Keep a keen eye out for a variety of wildlife, including the elusive lions and leopards, albeit challenging to spot. Bird enthusiasts will delight in the diverse avian species that grace the landscape during this drive. Return to your accommodation for some relaxation and a well-deserved lunch. For those seeking an extra adventure, an optional hot-air balloon safari is available at an additional cost. After lunch, prepare for an exciting boat trip to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls, offering opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and an array of waterbirds along the journey. Opt for a hike to the top of the falls, an exhilarating albeit challenging endeavor, promising an unforgettable thrill and panoramic vistas. Consider it a must-do experience if you seek adventure and stunning views. Return to your accommodation, where you can unwind and enjoy a leisurely evening, reflectingon the day's adventures amidst the tranquil surroundings.
Following breakfast at your accommodation, begin your journey promptly towards Kibale Forest National Park. The drive might be lengthy, yet it unfolds a captivating panorama of scenic vistas. Traverse through villages, lush green countryside, and hills adorned with picturesque tea plantations, defining the charming landscape of this region. The breathtaking scenery will captivate your senses throughout the journey. Renowned for its rich primate diversity, Kibale National Park is a haven for chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and Uganda mangabeys (Lophocebus ugandae). Embarking on your chimpanzee trails, witness these remarkable creatures swinging among the forest canopy and foraging on the abundant wild fruits. Upon reaching your accommodation, check-in and take some time to unwind. Enjoy a delectable dinner and settle in for a restful overnight stay, preparing for the adventures that await in the enchanting forest.
Have breakfast and head to the rangers’ post where you will receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest. An experienced ranger guide will take you chimp tracking and you will be left amazed by the presence of primates here. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour in their presence. You will return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the evening and overnight at your booked accommodation.
Rise early and fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive to explore the scenic Kasenyi plains. Keep a keen eye out for sightings of Cape buffalos, herds of elephants, and elusive big cats such as lions and leopards (though spotting them might be challenging), among other fascinating wildlife species. Return to your accommodation for a relaxing break and a well-deserved lunch. Post-lunch, embark on a captivating 2-hour boat excursion along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes George and Edward. Be mesmerized by the sight of diverse wildlife, including majestic hippos, elephants, and crocodiles, among other intriguing creatures. The water shores are adorned with a plethora of bird species, offering a delightful birdwatching experience. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and spend the night at your accommodation, surrounded by the tranquility of the park.
After enjoying breakfast, embark on a journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. While the likelihood of spotting these lions is around 70%, their elusive nature sometimes makes them challenging to find, especially when concealed in the grasslands on the hunt for prey. Should you be fortunate enough to spot them, the encounter will undoubtedly be a spectacular sight! Continuing the journey, arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a significant sanctuary for mountain gorillas in Uganda, housing an estimated 400 individuals, approximately half of the world's gorilla population. The park is home to several habituated gorilla groups, offering the opportunity for gorilla trekking experiences. Given the strenuous day ahead, upon arrival, check-in at your accommodation, allowing time to relax and prepare for the highly anticipated Bwindi gorilla-trekking adventure scheduled for the following day.
Indulge in breakfast and proceed to the rangers' post where you'll receive a comprehensive briefing from a ranger guide regarding the essential guidelines and protocols for gorilla trekking. Upon completion, venture into the captivating gorilla sanctuary, where the sheer beauty of the rainforest landscape is truly awe-inspiring. The area showcases a dramatic, densely forested terrain with steep slopes, traversed by a network of animal trails that facilitate tourist access. The duration and complexity of the trek vary based on the gorillas' movements. Once you encounter a gorilla group, you'll have the privilege of spending an hour in their captivating presence. The experience of observing these gentle yet endangered giants is bound to leave an indelible impression. Afterward, return for a satisfying lunch before embarking on a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi. Encircled by lush, green-terraced hills ranging from 2,200 to 2,478 meters in height, the lake's allure lies in its 29 islands of diverse shapes and sizes scattered across its serene waters, evoking a sense of enchantment. The picturesque scenery of these islands is truly captivating, inviting admiration for hours on end.
Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara town. You will arrive in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding for the late afternoon/evening game viewing. On the game drive, expect to see the gigantic eland, zebra, topi, impala, Uganda kob and Cape buffalo among others. Later, relax at the accommodation where you will spend the night. Optional: If you are interested, you can on the breathtaking Mburo night game drive (at an extra cost). During the night game drive, expect to see nocturnal creatures including snakes, hyenas, owls and elusive leopards (on a lucky day), among others.
Begin your day with an early breakfast, setting out for a captivating morning bushwalk in Mburo Park, accompanied by an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. This guided walk offers an exceptional opportunity for close encounters with zebra, giraffe, eland, topi, Cape buffalo, and an array of other antelope species within proximity. Follow the trail leading to the hilltops, offering panoramic vistas of Lake Mburo and its environs. Marvel at the breathtaking view that encompasses nine out of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo National Park. Absorb the serenity and beauty of the landscape from this elevated vantage point. Subsequently, return to your accommodation for checkout. After bidding farewell to this stunning wilderness, embark on the journey towards Entebbe Airport for your onward flight (recommended for 18:00 or later).
