Our internship program is open to passionate, motivated individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and gain practical exposure to the vibrant tourism sector in Uganda. We welcome interns from both local and international institutions who are pursuing studies in tourism, travel, hospitality, customer care, marketing, wildlife conservation, photography, or related fields.

Program Overview

Our internship runs throughout the year and can be tailored to meet academic requirements, student availability, and specific interests. We offer both short-term (1-3 months) and long-term (3-6 months) internship placements. Each intern is placed in a department that best aligns with their career goals, interests, and academic background. Departments include:

• Tour Operations and Safari Planning

• Marketing and Social Media Management

• Reservations and Customer Care

• Tour Guiding and Driving (for qualified candidates)

• Office Administration

• Content Creation and Travel Photography

Interns work closely with our experienced team of tour consultants, guides, and marketing professionals who offer mentorship and supervision throughout the internship.

Internship Fee

To cover administrative, mentorship, and logistics costs, we charge a small internship facilitation fee of UGX 150,000 (Ugandan Shillings). This fee is a one-time payment and ensures each intern has access to the resources, guidance, and support needed to gain maximum value from the experience.

At the end of your internship, you will receive an official certificate of completion and, upon request, a letter of recommendation that can support your future job or academic applications.

7. Skill Development

Enhance essential skills such as communication, teamwork, digital marketing, content creation, report writing, client relations, and itinerary design.

8. Career Opportunities

Outstanding interns may be considered for future employment or freelance opportunities within Afrigaze Safariz or through our wide network of tourism partners across East Africa.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized institution
