Originally reconstructed in 1997 using the framework of the original 1959 lodge, the lodge’s interior design is reminiscent of an earlier era of Nile exploration. This three-star suburban lodge rests on the eastern bank of the Albert Nile and represents a contemporary rendition of the former state lodge, once frequented by Idi Amin—its remnants are still visible. Strategically located a short distance from the Tangi Gate of Murchison Falls National Park, Pakuba ensures convenient access for visitors.
